ISKCON Leaders Use Narayana Maharaja
to Support Guru Hoax

IRM

Back To Prabhupada, Issue 5, Autumn 2004

A hoax by definition has no substance, built as it is on a foundation of lies and fabrication. A perfect illustration of how the great Guru hoax operates is the GBC's exploitation of His Holiness Narayana Maharaja, a member of the Gaudiya Matha. In 1990 they used an interview with Narayana Maharaja, conducted by former GBC chairman Ravindra Svarupa das, to try to crush support for Srila Prabhupada's ritvik system of initiation. Narayana Maharaja happily obliged, but was later hypocritically dumped and blackballed as a "talented pretender or imposter" (1998 when he became too popular) by the very same person who had interviewed him, Ravindra Svarupa das! Below are Narayana Maharaja's comments as printed in the GBC's 1990 'ISKCON Journal'.
