Dear Ajamila Prabhu,

As with all your postings to date, you begin with a lie and then construct the rest of your argument based on this lie. Once this lie is exposed, all your arguments and the 'questions' you submit collapse.

You claim we say:

"The GBC cannot change anything".

What we actually say is:

"In running ISKCON, the GBC: Can only implement instructions directly issued by Srila Prabhupada:

'The GBC has no other function or purpose than to execute the instructions so kindly given by His Divine Grace'
(1975, GBC Resolution)

The GBC must keep intact and apply only that which Srila Prabhupada has taught:

'and preserve and spread His Teachings to the world in their pure form.'
(1975 GBC Resolution)

Thus the GBC:

A) Cannot change anything already given by Srila Prabhupada;
B) Or introduce anything other than that already given by Srila Prabhupada."

Once the GBC resolution on which the N.C.I.P. (No Change in ISKCON paradigm) is actually based is included, your fabrication of our position falls apart. The GBC Resolution above (which is given as the definition of the GBC) states that the GBC should implement and maintain only what Srila Prabhupada has given, not us.

Further the very next paragraph of the same GBC resolution also states that in order to maintain the systems which Srila Prabhupada has given, the GBC can take steps to empower the necessary individuals:

"It is understood that the GBC, as a collective body of 14-members has been authorised by His Divine Grace to make necessary arrangements for carrying out these responsibilities of management. These arrangements may include delegating authority, managing resources, setting objectives, making plans, calling for reports, evaluating results, training others, maintaining spiritual standards and defining sphere of influence of the various GBC members as well as other devotees."
(1975 GBC Resolution)

Thus to maintain the system given in the July 9th directive, the GBC has been specifically authorised to make the necessary arrangements. You yourself have agreed that the details of a system such as who should be the temple president and who should be on the editorial board, can be changed as necessary.

This is also a management system that the GBC have been authorised to apply and maintain.

Further, this is a point that the GBC agree with anyway - so by challenging it you have kept up your 'unbroken tradition' of contradicting the GBC at every twist and turn:

(Tamal Krishna Goswami relates the following question he asked whilst preparing to type the list of selected ritviks):

Tamal Krishna: "Srila Prabhupada, is this all or do you want to add more?"
Srila Prabhupada: "As necessary, others may be added."

(Pyramid House confessions, 3/12/80)

So you are putting forward as defect in the N.C.I.P., the inability to add more ritviks. Yet the GBC have agreed that more can be added. So if you don't have faith in us, at least have faith in them. The above evidence from HH Tamala Krishna Maharaja was used in the GBC's 'anti-ritvik' ISKCON JOURNAL, a document to which you were also a contributor. Yet, as we have seen in your recent attack on HH Hridyananda Maharaja, you seem to have no shame in attacking documents that you are a contributor to. Again this is just more evidence of your desperation in trying to find something to say - that you will even lash out at the GBC just to try and desperately find a hole in our position. Unfortunately you have failed again.

Thus actions that maintain the systems that Srila Prabhupada has given, do not change them, they only assist in continuing and maintaining them, even though the details needed for their application may need to be adjusted.

Thus by:

  1. The GBC resolution on which the N.C.I.P. resolution is based;
  2. Your own agreement regarding changes in personnel;
  3. And the GBC's own evidence;

More ritvik priests can be added to maintain the procedure that was issued to the GBC on July 9th GBC for implementation throughout ISKCON.

Therefore the answers to your questions are NO and NO.

Further, you have never quoted any sastra when answering our questions, in fact you do not even answer them - as we just saw - you were not able to produce a single example of Srila Prabhupada using the word 'ritvik-acarya' as you claimed.

Your questions all start with a faulty premise such as:

That the 'law' of disciplic succession states that one must take diksa from a living guru;

That the N.C.I.P. states that systems given by Srila Prabhupada cannot even be MAINTAINED.

Once we expose these faulty premises, the questions become meaningless. Thus you are not even able to construct meaningful, rational questions that make any sense, what to speak of being able to even ANSWER my questions.

Also you have again repeated the already exposed lies that we are 'breaking the law of disciplic succession' and that the July 9th ritviks system is 'temporary'. You have had thousands of words to try and prove these lies, but each time you get challenged on them, you provide no guru, sadhu and sastra evidence, but instead give more fabrications and repeat the lies, hoping that if you say them enough, people will believe them.
