Hands Down Defeat?

Dear Drutakarma Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I am currently studying in HR College in Mumbai. I have been a devotee since the last 8 / 9 years. Reading, chanting and following all principles. I have read your book, "Forbidden Archeology" and was highly impressed by it. I admired the way you write and defeated the Darwinistic theories. Whenever I heard your name, it would conjure upon me a feeling of conclusion on the right path. At some point I used to think of writing to you and assist you in your service to Srila Prabhupada. I always felt that the service you were doing is extremely valuable to change the future course of destiny in Science.

I always felt something was wrong in our institution, but was never attracted by the Ritvik ideas. But recently, I have been following a kind of debate between you & Mr. Desai. I have to admit that I am totally shocked to see your inability to defend the Guru system in ISKCON. What really shocked me more than anything else is that I had so much respect in your ability to intellectualize conclusively the siddhanta, but I was upset to note your hands down defeat. You were not even able to get the better of Mr. Desai on even one point and you go on to say that you would rather quote Srila Prabhupada than Mr. Desai. Then why did you get into the debate in the first place. If your purpose was to show the hollowness of Ritvik system, you haven't. In fact it has opened my eyes, that Srila Prabhupada may have wanted the Ritvik system.

As I follow, it appears to me that you may also feel the same way, but you are too proud to admit it.

Your former admirer
