Exposė
We report on yet another chapter in the IRM's rapidly
successful step by step plan to return ISKCON back to Srila
Prabhupada.
There has been an ISKCON temple in Khulna for 8 years. Khulna with
nearly 2 million people is one of the four metropolitan cities of
Bangladesh and has a university, a Medical college, and the
country's only Telephone Cable and the biggest paper mill in
Bangladesh. Khulna is also a divisional headquarter for Bangaldesh.
Pretty much since the founding of the temple it was run as a zonal
acharya temple with
Jayapataka Swami (JPS) the main Guru, and
Bhakti Caru Swami
and Prabhavishnu Swami also having some
influence here. The Temple President Vijay Gopinatha Das, was
initially the Temple President of the ISKCON temple in Jessore. He
was then asked by the GBC to then take on the responsibility of
founding and developing a Temple in Khulna.
Then about 1 year ago as fate would have it, the Temple President of
Khulna and a very important supporter of the Temple - a Professor
Dwarkadish Adhikary of Jinaidaha College - visited the ISKCON Temple
in Calcutta. There they were given a copy of
'The Final Order' - the IRM's position paper. The rest, as they
say, is history.
They began to study 'The Final Order' and were extremely inspired
and repeatedly visited Calcutta.They asked many questions and had
all their doubts cleared up. It was very clear to them that it was
indisputable that Srila Prabhupada alone was the Guru of ISKCON,
just as he himself had ordered. They were determined that Srila
Prabhupada's mercy must now be spread all over Bangladesh as well.
Professor Dwarkadish Adikary therefore began to translate some of
the
IRM papers into Bengali in order to make it easier for all the
devotees there to comprehend all the evidence. Within a short period
of time the entire temple became convinced that Srila Prabhupada
alone, and not Jayapataka Swami, was their eternal Guru. Next the
devotees began preaching the good news to the entire congregation
which consisted of many hundreds of devotees, most of whom were
chanting Hare Krishna and following the principles. Gradually the
ENTIRE congregation including big businessmen, intellectuals and
Life members also accepted 'The Final Order'.
This transformation naturally caused immediate shockwaves throughout
Bangladesh. JPS's camp which previously controlled the temple
immediately took action to try and steal the devotees back from
Srila Prabhupada. They tried in vain to convince the devotees that
only JPS could give them shelter. They were extremely upset at the
success of the IRM's preaching and they tried the usual tactics to
counter this success. First they said that the leaders of the IRM
were expelled. This was very quickly exposed as a lie since the GBC
themselves had first rescinded this expulsion, and their latest
attempt has been stayed by the High Court. So when this did not work
they tried to frighten the devotees that the Parampara would come to
an end if Srila Prabhupada was made the Guru of ISKCON. However this
lie did not work either. In fact no one could understand HOW the
parampara could possibly end by having Srila Prabhupada as the
current link for the duration of ISKCON. When they realized their
propaganda was having zero effect, the JPS camp next tried to open a
rival center. Right near the ISKCON Khulna temple they tried opening
a tiny center by renting a room in a nearby building. However this
pathetic attempt was met with completely apathy by the public and
the congregation, and thus they have been completely unsuccessful in
combating the IRM in this city.
Under the IRM leadership the Temple is thriving like never before.
There are over 12 full-time devotees living in the temple, with at
least another dozen ready to join immediately. And along with the
IRM's program to revive ISKCON according to Srila Prabhupada's
original formula, the temple has regular harinama on the streets,
and Srila Prabhupada's books are distributed daily. Amongst the huge
congregation, there are already over *100* devotees who are
ready and waiting to take initiation from *SRILA PRABHUPADA*
and not the substitute GBC Gurus led by JPS. The temple even
publishes its own magazine - Hare Krishna Gaur Vani - which
is published with the IRM logo on the front cover. Thousands of
copies are distributed monthly. Thus the public is fully aware of,
and supportive of the Temple's attempt to promote only Srila
Prabhupada.
Thus another amazing IRM success has been achieved again in
Jayapataka Swami's own back-yard. As is well-known, Bangladesh along
with South and Eastern India and Malaysia are where many of JP'S
disciples are concentrated. We have already reported on the success
we have had in breaking JPS's stronghold in the other areas, and no
we have made in-roads into Bangladesh. This, as with all other
breakthroughs, is simply the beginning, as the IRM begins to take a
foothold in more and more countries, as we open up new fronts all
the time. As will be seen from this story above, our success seems
to be restricted only by how quickly we are able to get devotees
inside ISKCON to read the Final Order. Once they do, it seems only
be a matter of time before they return back to Srila Prabhupada's
original mission, and join the IRM.
The following
article appeared in "Baangi", which is a popular Hindi
language magazine distributed all over Northern India. The magazine
is published by Marksman Publishers, which is also an educational
institute, and thus the magazine is widely read and respected. The
author has been a well-known investigative journalist for over 25
years, and has had many articles published in all the leading
publications of India. Following the JPS's camp filing of the false
rape case, he decided to investigate the matter and these are his
own independent conclusions (translated
into English).

"Adri
Prabhu Vs the Foreign Gurus"

Orders are meant to be followed. Who gave the order? Don't
you know it? Only the Government can give orders. This time
it was a phone call from the CPM (Communist Party of
India - Marxist) HQ in Allimuduin Street. It conveyed
that CPM General Secretary Anil Biswas wants the Hare
Krishna Movement destroyed:
"Initially
support Jayapataka Swami, the ISKCON Guru of Mayapur and
bring about the ruin of the rebellious devotees. Thereafter
rip apart ISKCON's flag (Pataka)."

'Let us do
here what our comrades in China are doing to religion in
their country'.
"Oh that
would be an injustice! On the basis of this injustice we
dispatched the soul of Krishna devotee Sureshwara Dasa to
Goloka. We did this by calling for the transfer of the rape
case from Ballygunge Police Station to the Calcutta
Detective Department (DD)."
After
saying this an official of the DD laughed loudly.
This conversation took place between the said High-ranking
Police Officer and a CPM leader. A witness who overheard
this conversation was then overheard narrating the same
conversation to a senior Police public relations official in
his chamber. What this conversation reveals is that the
entire episode involving ISKCON in the rape case is a
vicious conspiracy. It forced Suresvara to take his life. It
also brings to light that the police are hell bent on
whitewashing this falsehood in connivance with some crooked
gurus of Mayapur and sweep the suicide case under the
carpet.
However new facts are being thrown up. They prove simply a
holy rat race is in progress. To commandeer the huge assets
and capital of ISKCON acquired during its Founder Acharya
Srila Prabhupada's lifetime, the gang of false Gurus are
involved in heinous conspiracy. Before dying, Suresvara
Prabhu clearly explained in his diary why he was falsely
implicated in this rape case.
Why was he victimised? The answer is that the clique of
pretender Gurus want to target the rebel devotee President
of Calcutta Temple. The power brokers in Mayapur ISKCON want
to punish and humiliate this rebel Adridharana Dasa.
Adridharana Dasa has established the ISKCON Revival Movement
(IRM). Today this movement has spread to all ISKCON centers
around he world. The leaders of ISKCON are facing child
molestation charges in USA. They naturally see Adri's hands
behind this and all this has enraged the American Gurus. As
a result of ISKCON's internal strife the false rape case and
Suresvara's untimely death has come about.
With the surfacing of real facts everything stands exposed.
Firstly the unbiased and politically unattached officers of
DD have leaked certain documents which reveal that Suresvara
was innocent. Now the crooked DD officers are trying to
protect the 8 abettors to Suresvara's suicide accused by the
jail authorities.
On 29th June Basanti Dasi lodged an First Information Report
(FIR). She alleged that she went to meet Temple President
Adridharana Dasa and that he asked her to go to No. 22
Gurusadaya Road, where she allegedly was raped. The rape was
reported to have occurred at 11 a.m. when there were lots of
people there. Surprisingly she reports this only at 9.30 pm
at the Ballygunge Police Station. Normally these cases are
investigated by the local Police Station but without any
explicable reason the DD showed mysterious interest, and
Suresvara Das was immediately arrested. But the medical
report has exposed the conspiracy. It is mentioned in the
medical report that there is no proof suggesting that the
woman has been raped. The report further sates there is no
injury on the body or vulva. The allegedly raped woman was
found to have no traces of semen inside her by the FSL
report. The report was negative.
In spite of knowing all this the DD adopted a biased
attitude toward Suresvara Das and protested his bail at
every step. Suresvara was kept in jail for a month and
denied justice. It clearly shows the prejudiced attitude of
the DD.
On 3rd August the whole episode took a tragic turn and the
state police and judiciary was stigmatised when the jail
authorities found Suresvara Dasa hanging from the ceiling. A
live and healthy person was arrested by the keepers of the
law to dispense justice but only ended up being transformed
into a corpse. Suffering and being maligned did not deter
Suresvara Dasa from exposing the clique behind the whole
tragic event. He named the people involved in this
conspiracy, among them his guru Jayapataka Swami, and hence
Jayapataka Swami conspired against him. Instead of the
American Guru he accepted Prabhupada as his only guru and
joined Adridharana Dasa in the IRM. Jail authorities read
the diary and were shocked. The jail officials took
immediate steps and informed Hastings Police Station where
they lodged a FIR. Eight persons from ISKCON Mayapur were
charged for abetting the suicide:
1. Jayapataka Swami
2. Satadhanya Dasa
3. Dayaram Dasa
4. Bhadra Charu Dasa
5. Birchandra Dasa
6. Krishna Lata Dasi
7. Basanti Devi Dasi
8. Subhabrata Dasa
But nothing was done immediately against the accused. This
case was also taken over by DD. The amount of readiness
shown arresting Sureshwar was lacking in the case of these
eight accused persons. On the contrary the American Guru was
allowed to flee from India. But later the court ordered that
none of the remaining accused be allowed to leave the
country. This clearly means the court wants to take action
against the accused but are prevented by Hastings Police
Station.
This attitude of the court has shaken the corrupt DD. They
are giving confused statements. The DD knows that their
biased attitude led to the suicide. Newspapers have
published statements given by Narayan Ghosh at Lal Bazar
Police Station:
"according to reports Basanti Devi might have been raped"
But both the medical reports prove otherwise. The DD then
tried to divert the attention from the medical facts which
prove the innocence of Suresvara Das. The DD filed a
petition for DNA testing of a patch on the dress of the
alleged rape victim to suppress the medical facts This
proves the FSL report was negative because semen should have
already been found inside the body. Probably the police
wanted to tell the court that the dress instead of the body
had been raped!
The shocking fact is that the petition filed for DNA
investigation was made one month after the rape
investigation was begun and the dress was in custody since
the FIR was filed. It is obvious that unfair means were used
by the police to delay proceedings and cover up their
misdeeds. All this done to justify the torture, disgrace and
death of an innocent person. There seems to be no end to the
DD shenanigans. They were again able to take over the
suicide case. The rape case was pursued with alacrity, the
suicide with a deliberate go-slow policy. None of the eight
have been questioned.
It is crystal clear that this is a dirty game between the
Guru, the DD at Lal Bazar and some dirty wealthy people.
Under the circumstances it will be proper for CBI to
intervene and hand over the foreign criminal elements. The
investigation will also reveal the ruling CPM is involved
with the foreign Guru. It is the duty of the CBI to take
over the investigation from the Calcutta Police and bring
the offenders in line with the law. |
With even
independent journalists being able to see through the JPS's camps
desperate attempts to hold onto power, the days of ISKCON's bogus
Guru program are numbered.
Last week we
exposed the real truth about
Bhakti Caru Swami's supposed desire to 'keep Srila Prabhupada in
the centre'. While he may SPEAK about keeping Srila
Prabhupada in the centre, when it comes to ACTING he ensures
that HE is very much in the centre. Following our revelations
last week, he has now been stung into releasing the following
message on his 'BCS Istaghosti' COM:

I was very happy to read it. As you know, for the last few
years I have not been celebrating my Vyasa-puja. This year,
however, I promised the devotees of Mayapur that I would be
there for that occasion. As usual, they made quite an
elaborate arrangement. I was not able to stop them from
doing this, but I made it a point to turn it into a "Srila
Prabhupada Memorial Festival". |

The name of the person this letter was written to
is omitted, and it was apparently written a week ago. Thus the
purpose of posting this letter now is clearly to try and counter
our expose of his actions.

He tries to show how magnanimous he is that he
attempted to turn his 'Vyasa-Puja' into a 'Srila Prabhupada
Memorial Festival'. But if he had not decided to actually
HAVE the Vyasa-Puja Festival to begin with, then the
question of him needing to turn into something else would not
even have arisen in the first place. So what is the value in
creating the problem, and then making some gesture to try and
rectify it! Take the next part of his letter as a case in point:

"After this, the devotees were supposed to
have my foot bathing ceremony as well as my guru puja. But
instead, I decided to show the 9th capsule of 'Abhay
Charan'." |

This is simply just another meaningless gesture,
since even on other non-Vyasa-Puja days he has Guru-Puja and
foot bathing anyway, as was reported in our newsletter last
week. Thus it is neither any real sacrifice nor does it actually
solve the problem.

Finally we note in the beginning of his letter he
claims that he only had Vyasa-Puja since he had promised his
disciples to attend. But why is he promising something to his
disciples that will only take them further away from Srila
Prabhupada? And if that is NOT the case, then why has he
not been having Vyasa-Puja for the last few years?
In other words,
celebrating his Vyasa-Puja is either going to assist his disciples
to come closer to Srila Prabhupada or it isn't.
If it IS, then he should always be having them.
And if it isn't - then he should NEVER be having Vyasa-Pujas.
Instead he cancels them for a few years as a grandstanding gesture,
but then decides he needs some worship again. This charade fools no
one. He also claims he could not 'stop' his disciples from
making an 'elaborate arrangement' for himself. So is he
the Guru or is he the disciple? He has to have Vyasa-puja for
the 'benefit' of his disciples, and he is unable to 'stop'
them worshipping him opulently. By this logic he is behaving as the
servant of his disciples. As Srila Prabhupada states:
"He's most
dangerous. He's most dangerous. He is opportunist. He's finding out
customer, something here...According to the customer he is giving
something, as the customers will be pleased. So he is not guru. He's
a servant. He wants to serve the so-called disciples so that he may
be satisfied and pay him something. He's servant. He's not guru.
Guru is the master. You cannot disobey guru. But if you become a
servant, you want to please the disciple by flattering him to get
his money, then you are not guru, you are servant. Just like a
servant pleases the master. He's not guru. He's servant. So our
position should be servant, yes, but servant of the Supreme. So guru
means heavy. You cannot utilize him for satisfying your whims. That
is not guru."

How about this
for a novel suggestion - why not stop the 'substitute Guru's'
Vyasa-Puja festival altogether - then EVERYDAY would
automatically become a "Srila Prabhupada Festival" - just as
it was when Srila Prabhupada was here. This is why the IRM stance is
known as
'No Change'. Keep things as they were in 1977, and Srila
Prabhupada will automatically be everyone's focus just as he was
then. Rather BCS's plan is to FIRST REPLACE Srila Prabhupada
with himself, and THEN offer some of the worship which is
directed to him back to Srila Prabhupada as a grand gesture. What is
not realised is that had he not FIRST decided to replace
Srila Prabhupada with himself, then all the worship and offerings
would automatically be going to Srila Prabhupada anyway!
As we said last week:
"ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN
WORDS"
BCS's charade fools no one.
